Why?
My father ended his own life when he was 19. I was still in the womb.
For years I had conversations with him in my mind, but wondered what he would actually say if he could talk to me, or even, write me a letter.
Fast forward some years, a close friend was grieving the loss of her father. He had passed away several years earlier but she was still struggling. I decided that I would try to give her what I longed for; words from the grave.
I told her what I thought her father would say, “My dearest Daughter, you are amazing. I am so proud of you, of who you’ve become. I want you to know that every morning my sun rose with you. I watched Frozen with you fifteen times. Fifteen! So many good memories. Even though we miss each other greatly, I’m happy and I want you to be happy, also. I love you so much.” Not only did this make her feel better but it was cathartic for me also. It was at that moment that A Letter From the Grave was born.

Please fill the form out as completely as possible. Once done, it will take about two weeks (unless otherwise requested) to get the letter to you and your mailbox or to the mailbox of your loved one.
